Rian Walker
Rian is a talented 16 year old junior rally driver from Anstruther and a fifth year pupil at Waid Academy. Now in his third year of The Junior 1000 Ecosse Rally Championship, Rian has secured podiums at the first six rounds of 2023 with three seconds, three firsts and three rounds to go.
Stretching the length of the country, Rian and the team have championship events at Arbroath, Kames in Ayrshire, Crail, Machrihanish, Kames once more, Kinloss in the north, the penultimate round at Crail again in November. Round nine will take place in the deep south at The Circuit of Anglesey in Wales.
Competing in his Skoda Citigo one litre, Rian’s car is the only left-hand drive junior car in the UK.
A very smooth and consistent driver, Rian is navigated around the stages by Co-Driver - Stuart McBride with his dad and good friend Marc McCubbin on the tools.
The championship that the boys compete in is limited to one litre cars, with strict guidelines for safety comprising of a roll cage, fire extinguishers, safety harnesses, helmets and all the things you would associate with a race car.
In his spare time, Rian enjoys helping as part of the service team for AM Motorsport and Angus Lawrie Rallying in The Scottish Rally Championship, where he homes to emulate some of his peers in the not too distant future.
Teigan Cameron
Teigan is a promising 17-year-old equestrian from Leuchars.
Teigan studies Social Science at Dundee and Angus Collage and currently owns three horses; Missy, Aero and Aslam.
British Showjumping competitions run all year round and take Teigan and Missy across Scotland. Missy, an experienced 20-year-old Anglo Arab, has been on top form of late, with the pair qualifying for Aintree in November.
Aero is up and running in the background, competing in some unaffiliated showjumping with the hope of stepping up to club classes next year. Aero is 8 years old and has a bright future ahead of him.
Aslam, a 25 year old Cob x Arab is living his best semi-retired life, but still loves the occasional hack!
